Primary Responsibilities:

This position will provide support for new model launch QA functions (PV) and NAP manufacturing quality improvement activities at the customer facility. Front line position interface with OEM manufacturers.

• Provide positive, professional communication between the customer and AISIN
• Assist NAP locations during new product/process preparation. Develop and communicate QC Monitor reports and New Model Launch Summary Reports during and after new project activities.
• Participate in new model launch Internal OBEYA activity.
• Participate in the monthly North American Quality Managers meeting (via teleconference).
• Provide daily real time support at the customer location for questions, concerns, and quality issues with AISIN products
• Arrange and supervise sorting operations for AISIN issues occurring at OEM manufacturing locations
• Summarize and communicate information, sorting results, and investigation status to AWA QA and AISIN NAP locations
• Work closely with the AWA-Seymour, AWA-Cincinnati, and AWA-Detroit Quality staff to develop a "One AISIN" team attitude.

Essential Skills / Experience:

• Ability to coordinate and negotiate with customer and AISIN facilities
• Root Cause Analysis/Troubleshooting capability
• 3-5 years of experience performing, planning or supporting high volume manufacturing operations is desired
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
• Knowledge of Seven Basic QC Tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access is beneficial

Education / Training / Certifications Required:

• BA/BS Preferred

Work Environment Requirements:

• Can use Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Base at AISIN Customer facility
• Requires travel to AISIN NAP and AWA-Seymour office (10%).
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.
• Must be able to support multiple AISIN facilities at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
• Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all AWA safety policies.

Attendance/ Travel:

• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Travel approximately 2-4 times per week.
• Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
