Position Summary

Responsibilities include various activities in the areas of Accounting, Finance and translation activities for various Aisin companies. These include daily, monthly or quarterly activities such as but not limited to:

• Period end close procedures by utilizing consolidation reporting system (Stravis)
• Review and coordination with subsidiaries (NAPs) for their reporting packages
• Foreign exchange translation with IFRS/US GAAPS adjustments
• Related party transactions analysis
• Preparation of consolidated Financial Statement/Monthly Operation Report/Budget and related reports/schedules requested by corporate planning.
• Kaizen Activities, including standardizing NAPs reporting package to improve financial reporting quality
• Tax compliance and consulting work for Aisin NA group

Position Responsibilities

• Month-end and quarterly close activities including
  • Data analysis
  • Timely coordination and correspondence with NAPs and staff member
  • Consolidated financial statement reporting for review
• Other reporting and control functions
• Perform inter-company reconciliations and analysis
• Assist with quarterly review and year-end financial audit
• Process improvement activities
• Budget preparation and reporting
• Meet targeted completion date or due dates on tax compliance work
• Other tasks and duties, as assigned.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Communicate effectively to Aisin Management Members
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably public accounting firms
• Understand the concept of consolidation accounting
• Ability to understand standard accounting systems
• Ability to understand and be able to perform research on tax related topics
• Proficiency in MS office
• Ability to pay strict attention to details, effectively communicate with stakeholders and to organize and complete tasks on time

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• Oracle Enterprise Business Solution experience
• Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting from an accredited university
• Excellent written and oral language skills

Work Environment Requirements

• Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone and other office equipment.
• Must perform job duties onsite, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits).
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.
• Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
• Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.

Attendance/Work Hour Requirements

• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
• NOTE: These requirements are consistent with company policy.

Travel Requirements

• Less than 10%
